US car ownership is the highest in the world

The total number of vehicles in the world is now one billion.
In the US there are 809 cars for every 1000 people.
Compared to 46 in China and 14 in India.

No one is going to walk to the Mall!
They even drive thru banks in the US.
I am surprised Americans are not born with wheels instead of feet!
