Hi Everyone,
I have to confess, I have been leveraging this board - and the associated FB group Unhappy New Home Buyers - pretty frequently for information over the last few weeks, plus general advice / recommendations on snagging. And it has been so useful.

So, tonight, I have taken the plunge and signed up.  Guys, bottom line is I think I'm going to need the benefit of your experience and inputs pretty soon!

At this stage - I am sorry as I appreciate naming and shaming has its value, believe me - we cannot name our developer.  I'm not saying we never will, we just REALLY need to get through this nightmare of a snagging process without making matters any worse by putting things out there. 

I CAN tell you they are not categorised as one of the usual suspects. We carefully researched and found no negative input online about them. 

I'll start posting in the relevant threads soon, and look forward to getting your inputs on a range of topics from boundary issues, brickwork, landscaping & garden, flooring, cracking ceilings, plumbing, and more, through to crappy mastic/sealant.

I have to say, both have been an absolute lifesaver!

I don't think I can do much on the MBE side sorry, but I can certainly say a heartfelt thank you, if that's any good! 

I have learned so much from both these sites, including how the developers tend to behave, which is probably more than half the battle when you have a long snags and defects list.
