Is this good enough in terms of finishes?
« on: October 27, 2018, 11:35:54 pm »
Hi - I am moving in to a new build and there's various issues with the fittings and painting / finish around them. See examples below - let me know if you can't see the images. Surely none of the below are acceptable but can someone give me any advice?

Painted over

Gaps and poor finish and damaged light

Gap and poor finish visible from miles away

Gap and poor finish again

Here the panel is about 1 cm disjointed

Poor finish and gap

Poor finish and wonky

Sorry but I have removed the photos as they are little more than what I would deem minor snagging issues. I cannot justify the space on the server.

Yes they are not acceptable, but the reality is if you get away with only minor painting issues, you will have done well!

You have not mentioned the name of the housebuilder either.

I would strongly recommend you have your new home professionally snagged and inspected before you legally complete. I would recommend you call Tim Fee 07768 900200 at Snagging Inspections as soon as possible.
