Non permanent job and mortgage
« on: August 22, 2017, 04:17:53 pm »
Hi everyone hopefully I'm in the right area.
I have worked in the same job for three years but because my wage is funded, my contract is renewed every year.
My partner has worked in the same job for 10 years, earns £22,000 and has a permanent contract. Has anyone been able to get a mortgage and been on a non-permanent contract?

As you are contracted you are classed as self employed.
Although more difficult, there are many self-employed people with mortgages.
