Women are more likely to own their own home than men.

A report by Friends Life on women and personal finance found that 64% of women own their own home, compared to 61% of men.
The survey of 2,000 women aged between 18 and 65 also showed that 54% of women who are currently renting, hope to buy a home within the next 10 years compared with 42% of men.
