I am planning a small construction project (a residential or small commercial building) and I am increasingly coming across information about modern construction methods such as prefabricated elements, modular construction, and the use of new materials that promise faster construction and lower labor costs. This made me wonder whether anyone has practical experience with these methods.
How reliable have they proven to be in reality compared to traditional masonry construction, especially when considering durability, maintenance, and total long-term costs?
Any advice or practical experience would be greatly appreciated.
