Artist Alex Hartley is being given £500,000 of tax-payers’ money to make an 'island raft' out of Arctic rock and tow it from Norway to England
where it will then be towed around the Coast on a raft to supposedly highlight global warming.
What a waste of public money! Especially given the current economic climate.
