I am a recent owner of a cottage, just outside Manchester. It is in a pretty solid condition and needs just a bit of work (and a redecorating of course). My main goal is to prepare it to let for a long term or for something like AirBnB. As I said, everything looks great and I am a little worried, or concerned more likely, for one thing. Asbestos. How can I check if any roofing on my property contains it? There is the cottage and two sheds - what can I do to make sure the materials are safe before I starts redecorating the interior?
