Homeowner's copy of NHBC warranty
« on: July 29, 2021, 07:08:54 pm »
I'm in the process of selling my shared-ownership flat, which has an NHBC warranty.

The buyer was asking for the certificate of the warranty. I asked NHBC to send me all the documents. They sent the "Registered Social Landlord's copy" and the "Lender's copy". There is no homeowner's copy.

Does anyone know if one should get a homeowner's copy, even with a shared-ownership property?

Thanks!

Seems strange but I wouldn't worry about it. The solicitors will sort it out for you and your buyer.
The good news is it's an NHBC warranty (such as it is) and not one of the lesser not as good, more troublesome warranties!
