Building a pond
« on: September 25, 2020, 09:50:50 am »
I want to build a swimming pond in my garden. Not a swimming pool - a pond.

I want it to look nice with some plants all around. It is supposed to look like a landscape element where you except a duck to come down any minute now. The trick is: I want it to have a "bathing" function.

That a person can get in on a warm day and just refresh. I hope I am making myself clear and not too chaotic. Anyway, I have a problem with the bottom of the pond. What should it be? Would the concrete be okay? Or a plastic, you know the artificial shape.

What you are describing I think is a plunge pool.
Try googling it.  Looks like a lot of expense and maintenance, (especially with UK weather) to me.
