Rock garden in spartan conditions
« on: April 02, 2020, 09:40:30 am »
I am going to build my first rock garden. Or I should say to try and build it.

I am stuck in UK because - reasons. Do not get me wrong, I love it here but the circumstances are dire. I have a small garden and because the weather is mediocre I decided to do something.

I can order some plants and supplies but I do not want to spend too much.
I want to treat building it as some sort of therapy, meditation you know? Placing rocks to relax.
I am here asking for advice. Is it okay if I use any type of rocks?
And what plants could I order that would last but not ruin me financially?

Good for you.

In these difficult times with Coronavirus restrictions, it may prove difficult to get the materials and plant s you want and need.
But I think the best place to check out is Google, which will have lots of images of rock gardens and the stone you can use for the effect you want.

As for plants again this would depend on what you yourself actually like, so do some searching online "rock garden plants"
