Water Bills set to rise
« on: September 26, 2011, 09:04:08 am »
The calculated cost of water companies taking over responsibility for private sewers from 1st October 2011 has been seriously under estimated according to several water companies.

Water companies say that the government predication of the additional cost to annual bills of between £3 and £14 is just an "estimate" based on figures drawn up in 2003.

Did you know that non payment of water bill is the only utility that you cannot be taken to court for to recover the money
and cutting you off is difficult too.

It's a good job water bills are not going as much as energy bills ....

Water bills have still gone up 70% since privatisation!

I dont think you can owe money to anyone and not have any consequences.
Otherwise, everyone would put water bills in a drawer and forget about them.
