it's been almost a year since we had our house built and just now it turned out that the floor in the kitchen is sloped, not much, just for a few degrees but still because of that defect there was a problem when the company we want to build our kitchen units advised us to have this checked which they were right - So we have a new kitchen waiting to be fitted by our supplier which we love and cannot wait, but our flooring needs to be perfect first.
So we contacted that contractor and they said that it will cost us approximately £2,000 but this is ridiculous since they are the one who did a sloppy job. Is there a way for us to make them redo the flooring at least for £600-1,000 (though we would want it to be free of any charges)
