Duplicate Content
« on: December 05, 2013, 10:23:15 am »
Whilst we appreciate most new homebuyer's general frustration with various house builders and the poor quality of their homes:
Please do NOT make duplicate posts on this forum!

Not only does it lower the overall quality of the content on the forum; it can cause the website to be penalised by search engines for duplicate content.
This results in a lower search engine results ranking (SERPS), meaning other new homebuyers may not discover the website and benefit from the great content provided.

We would also ask that members do not post duplicate content from (or on) other forums.
This is also against search engine's duplicate content rules. By doing this you are not helping the owners/operators of the website forums you are using.

Lastly, making duplicate posts on this forum you actually involve the moderators in extra work!
This website is run and managed on a not-for-profit basis. Responding to posts and writing content to inform and help people is done for free, without payment.

Very occasionally, a few kind donations are received from people who have been helped, which go towards paying for hosting and domain name registration costs.
