In the US the top 1% are benefiting most from the great "recovery".
They have increased their share of the US wealth for the last 34 years.
In 2010, 93% of all pre-tax income gains went to the top 1% (households earning more than $360,000 a year).
Over the last two years the top 1% have gobbled up 121% of all pre tax income gains.
How is this possible? Over the same period the 99% saw a net decline in pre tax income of 0.4%.
So whilst the top 1% are doing very nicely they are forcing the majority back into recession.
