The officials at Ofgem the energy regulator, have shared a £1 million-bonus pot, with chairman trousering £215,000 for his three-day working week.
Since Ofgem are supposed to be ensuring prices are kept down which they have failed to do over the last four years,
you wonder what they have done to justify their bonuses.
A bonus is supposed to reward targets being met and results that exceed expectations due to hard work and extra effort.
It is hard to put a case for bonuses at Ofgem.
Perhaps we need to set up a regulator for bonuses - 'Ofbone'?
