Title: This is what a snagging inspector will find in a new home

If you have ever wondered whether it is worth the money to  have your new home professionally snagged you only have to look at the picture below.
Would you have seen this?
Not only is the steel beam supporting the garage roof  on blockwork that is already cracking and loose, but it looks like the bearing is only about 25mm.  It should be at least 100mm.

The snagging inspector from Brickkickers, also recorded "about £2,000 worth of damaged glass - as someone has been using an angle grinder saw nearby and the red hot sparks have impregnated the glass and are now going rusty. The buyer doesn't know this either!"
