Noisy floorboard driving me crazy!! Where do i stand?
« on: May 12, 2020, 10:42:23 pm »
Hello Guys we’ve recently moved into a shared ownership property built by David Wilson homes, we’ve discovered a very squeaky and bouncy floorboard in our master bedroom, the noises can also be heard from the room below,

I am after some advise as to whether this classes as a defect and therefore something the developer will have to rectify, And whether anyone has any clue as to what it might be.

I have attached a video of the noise (hopefully it works lol)

Thanks in advance Dan

It does class as a defect.
There could be many reasons/causes.
