Title: Munster Joinery Windows
Post by: yayalon00 on August 18, 2020, 03:41:29 pm
My developer just said to me these windows are supposed to look like this.
They are claiming all their developments look the same. For the life of me I cannot believe people will accept this for a new build. How is this an OK looking window?
It looks like it was assembled by DIYers.

Opinions, please? Am I being pedantic here?

Cheers

No you are not being pedantic.
The window is coming apart clear as day.
The mitres should be hot welded in the factory.

When I was working, I always let out a huge sigh when I saw any order for my site which was Munster!

Are they known for such bad products?
The builder told me all windows he's ever installed from Munster look like that, and my question was why were these awful windows used then? he couldn't answer.

Who could get these windows inspected?

I was advised to contact FENSA but they don't do new builds.
Developer says they are fine, I disagree and think they won't last very long.

Contact the warranty provider. You should not accept windows like these they are damaged and coming apart.
