You have already paid extra for a bespoke kitchen to accommodate your large fridge freezer.
Nothing in building is impossible and can be changed with additional works often though at some expense.
From the outside, it would appear to me, to have been a simple case of the door and skirting being overlooked by both you, the housebuilder and the trades on site. Th skirting can easily be taken out; moving the door not so inexpensive.
A fair solution would be for the housebuilder to make the changes required and for you to pay half the
reasonable costs for the work. If you cannot get an agreement, tell the housebuilder you want a deadlock letter from them as you wish to make a claim using the
Consumer Code for Home Builders.
