Title: External and Internal Brickwork (Roof Side Wall)

I've just found this forum, hopefully you can help :)
After living at the property for 1+ year, I have found 2 x queries relating to the brickwork.
I have reported this to the builder, but their views are very conservative.

1. Inside View of Breeze Block - the shoddy mortaring , should I be concerned and push to get this correct? Builders View = this should be fine, no issues.

2. External View of Pitched Roof Meeting brickwork, there is a large gap which has been siliconed filled along with a gap (see blue rod), does this meeting regulation? Builders View = they will fill the silicone gap with mortar, rather than reworking the brickwork.

Hopefully you can help,
I have already spoken to a bricklayer regards point 2, they advised to rebrick the whole facing to align the brickwork correctly.

The whole gap should be filled with mortar.
What I suspect is the restraint straps were omitted and the warranty inspector flagged it as a defects and they wer retro fitted by cutting out the block and filling the gaps with mortar. Not ideal, but if it is done proprerly next time shoudl eb OK.

Filling gaps with silicon is a site manager bodge job!  It would be easier and better to point the gao with mortar.
Silicone isn't structural and will de grade in sunlight.

Please name this cowboy housebuilder as a warning to others.
