Build photos - patchy brickwork?
« on: November 01, 2020, 12:27:08 pm »
I have just received some photos of my new property from the sales team and it looks like there is some patchy brickwork/mortar. Completion isn't expected until March (depending on current events!) but I was wondering if the patches of different coloured mortar is acceptable?
It is most noticeable between the ground floor and first floor windows on the right side.

There also appears to be a vertical line of mortar just to the left of the scaffolding pole with the yellow foot. Is this normal?

Should I raise these points now or wait until completion?

Thanks for any help,

Rob

Always best to report anything you are unhappy about straight away.
Let everyone know you are fussy and you will get the best
Never wait until later.

Regarding the brickwork, the mortar is a different colour but it could just be that the mortar below is wet.
The mixing of the dark bricks could have bee better but will notice less once the windows are in and it all weathers down a bit.
