Binoculars - essential for Bellway Home Owners
« on: April 25, 2017, 07:47:29 pm »

This roof looked O.K with the naked eye but decided that since it was a Bellway roof it was too good to be true.  So got the binoculars out and discovered Bellway have their own novel way to fit dry verge end caps.

Lots of potential here for mishap - especially the ridge tile which looks as though it could take off at any moment.

Do roofers have any training or can any one do this?

It looks at first hand as if the dry verge system is coming away.
You should not be able to see the tile laps. As wind could get under these.

If it was me I would be making one hell of a nuisance of myself online and at their offices and sales offices every weekend until I was 100% happy everything was fixed.
