Planning a New Home Garden

A new home sold these days normally has little or no front gardens.
Rear gardens generally small with high fencing on all sides and other homes close proximity, limiting the amount of sun the garden can get.

It is best not to try anything ambitious and just treat the rear garden as an outside room;
with a patio and dining area, perhaps a contemporary water feature and well-maintained beds of architectural plants, grasses and perennials.
