Title: HBF New home customer satisfaction surveys
Post by: Philofacts on November 22, 2011, 09:17:08 am
Every year in April, the HBF publish the results of the NEW HOME CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS (http://www.brand-newhomes.co.uk/national-new-home-customer-satisfaction-surveys.htm).
House builders are then given a STAR RATING (http://www.brand-newhomes.co.uk/hbf-house-builder-star-rating-scheme.htm) based on the results of just two questions:
How satisfied are you with the quality of your new home? and
Would you recommend your builder to a friend?

The other results are INDUSTRY RESULTS (http://www.brand-newhomes.co.uk/hbf-new-homes-surveys.htm) and are weighted.
This means that the percentages are related to the number of homes a house builder completes in the survey year.

There are many ways to interpret the results and they should be looked on only as a general guide only.
Especially given that they represent only a small fraction (17%) of the total number of new homes built each year.
