I must admit I am getting a bit annoyed by the 'one post' members.
They come on here, asking for everyone's help and then never even bother to come back and read the replies!
Let alone say "Thank You"
Is it really too much to ask that those being helped at the very least say a simple "thank you" either?
Sometimes I wonder why I am bothering with this forum at all.
If this is the way people in this country think they can behave they need to grow some manners!
Quiet frankly as it appears to me, new home buyers in the main probably deserve the rubbish new homes they end up with!

A bit harsh... You are right though, a thank you would be nice.
Which prompted me to acknowledge your reply and comment some more.
All the best

It wasn't a bit harsh at all!
A "thank you" isn't just nice, it is good manners!
We don't live in America!

Point made already. People have busy lives, and this forum is hard to navigate to be honest, it takes a while to find my own post! Let's leave it at that.

"This forum is hard to navigate? Takes a while to find my own posts?"
Perhaps you missed the top left hand side links Under your welcome to:
"Show unread posts since your last visit"
"Show new replies to your posts"
Try clicking the arrow in the top right banner picture!

Oh dear, was it me?! Sorry have been on holiday. Very grateful for your advice as acknowledged in my response. Thanks ;)

Don't worry Poppy, it wasn't only you!
During the long process of going through every post (to edit for uft8 characters before '£' signs etc) I realised just how common this was.
I also checked that recently a few members had actually re visited after I had replied to their question, but not posted to say a simple "thank you"

Thanks for pointing out the links to left, I should look more closely next time.
