Dale Farm "Travellers"
« on: September 29, 2011, 02:41:12 pm »
So we have so called "travellers" living on land in "dwellings" that havent got planning permission.
They have been there for ten years now.  The Basildon local council is taking steps to evict them but now everyone and his dog has joined in on one side or the other. Human rights etc etc.
If they are "travellers", why have they been in one place for ten years?  Why dont they travel back to where they came from?
If they are not "travellers" they should live in a proper house like everyone else.

AND..... let's face it, if they didnt leave such a mess and lived with consideration to their neighbours on a tidy site with proper roads, footpaths and gardens, no one would probably object.
It is the fact that the place is now a tip and eyesore that most people want it cleared.
It is time to stop talking and send in the diggers! and flatten the site!

Do they pay any Council tax?  I think we know the answer.  Yet their children go to local schools paid for by the tax payer.
