Title: Talk is Cheap. Will Theresa May Right Wrongs And Stand Up To Housebuilders?
Post by: New Home Expert on October 06, 2016, 06:56:25 am
Remember this date Wednesday 5 October 2016.
This was the day when new Prime Minister Theresa May said at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham:
Quote
The Government is stepping up
Righting Wrongs
Challenging vested interests
Taking big decisions
Doing what we believe to be right
Getting the job done
That’s the good that Government can do and that’s what I’m in this for.
Standing up for the weak, standing up to the strong.

Theresa May will either go down in history as one of the greatest Prime Ministers this country has ever had, or will be found to be just another lying fraud who talks the talk but doesn’t actually do anything such as the likes of  Blair and Cameron.

Whilst it is highly suspicious that this part of Mrs May’s speech broadcasted on BBC News at 1pm yesterday, was completely left out of the BBC’s six o’clock coverage, Theresa May can make a valuable start following the talking with doing, by standing up for weak unprotected British new home buyers against strong oppressive housebuilders and setting a much needed New Homes Ombudsman this year and implementing the nine other recommendations of the APPG Inquiry Into the Quality of New Homes.

A year on, it appears "Brexit means Brexit"  but not for a while yet!
Now 11pm on 29th March 2019.

And what else has been done in the year?
Nothing at all Theresa May? Apart from that  disastrous snap election!

So much for "standing up for the weak" (new home buyers) "standing up to the strong" (home builders)
and "Challenging vested interests"?
