Your original post said "upon investigating some more it would appear the warranty is actually provided by Premier Warranty"  so it would appear to me that is what you were getting and the reason for your original post here.

Now it turns out that the sales literature and what you were told by the sales person originally were both true, stating NHBC warranty and you are getting NHBC warranty so there was never an issue.

"upon further investigation" should have read, "upon reading the literature that I was given when I expressed an interest in the house".
Anyway, thanks for your advice.

You said the "looking at the literature and speaking to the salesperson, I was told that the house would be covered by a 10-year NHBC warranty." in your first post.
Now you are claiming it said Premier Guarantee.
What you mean I think is that you had two sets of literature, which quite correctly both stated correct warranty company at the time you got the information.
