Interior Designer
« on: March 05, 2014, 04:18:17 pm »
Could anyone recommend a good budget interior designer around the Berkshire area? We are looking at a contemporary design.

Any freelancer who someone has tried would be good too. We have a little baby to look after so avoiding the DIY route. Someone who can see the project end-to-end will fit the best.

Interior designers are, in my opinion, a complete waste of their client's money.
They impose their preferences and tastes on others and even have the cheek to charge them.
Most of the time they are spending their client's money on tacky furniture 'contemporary' this or 'eclectic' that.
Save your money, decorate and buy what you prefer not what someone says you should like.
Its your house, you are going to have to live in it and with it.
After all builders use interior designers for show houses and we all know how tacky they are!

By the way, most projects are from beginning to end,  not  "end to end"
