Title: House builders are building new homes in high flood risk areas

Local authorities all over the country are ignoring the recommendations of the Environment Agency and approving new developments in areas at high risk of flooding.

Any new home built after 2009 will not be eligible for the industry's new flood reinsurance scheme "Flood Re"
