Title: Buying the show house? What you need to consider
Post by: Philofacts on December 05, 2013, 11:12:36 am
Buying the show home may seem like an ideal opportunity to buy a good quality new home, after all everything is finished and you can see exactly what you are getting. Well not really.
Unless a proper detailed list of everything that is being included in the sale is done, buyers of ex-show homes often find the place stripped of many fixtures they thought were included in the deal.

The quality will be better because it is the show house?  Wrong again.
Show homes are built in record times, often as little as just 8 weeks! Many things are often left or forgotten such as insulating the roof. Quality is often lower than in others new homes on the development.

Be sure you are aware of every pitfall before signing up to buy a show home by looking at our guide here:  Buying a show home (http://www.new-home-blog.co.uk/advantages-and-disadvantages-of-buying-a-show-home/)
