Buying a steel frame construction home

Here is what I found:
Steel conducts heat around 300-400 times faster than wood and reduces the insulating properties of the walls by approximately 60%. This could result in the property receiving a rather poor EPC rating. Condensation can occur against the frame, accelerating corrosion and other damp-related risks. Steel frame building is not cheaper than conventional methods but can save you lots of money with other costs. "Building with steel frames is material-wise not cheaper than brick and mortar, but, if correctly built, will save you up to 20% due to less waste and fewer labor costs.
Steel framing offers a strong, accurate, stable, and durable framing alternative to traditional wooden frames. In fact, lightweight steel framing is the superior choice for residential construction. Steel frames come in a wide range of sizes and shapes, much more so than standard lumber, and yield a high-quality home.
