Robert Fisk says in The Independent, that protesters in the west are against dictators in the form of big business and governments.
"For decades the people have bought into a fraudulent democracy."
People vote for politicians who have forwarded their mandate to banks and various rating agencies, who then maintain the fiction that this is a "crisis of globalisation rather than a massive financial con trick foisted on the voters."
The ratings agencies and banks become the dictators of the West, "gobbling up people's wealth" with huge rewards for their bosses "infinitely more rapacious" than greedy Arab dictators.
But unlike Mubarak and Gaddafi, we can't touch them.
