As Bill Bonner reports in Money Week, US giant General Electric, filed a 57,000 page federal tax return earlier this year but did not pay any tax on profits of $14 billion.
GE was able to utilise various legal loopholes for the deductions using a team of legal and tax experts.
Whilst GE keeps it's profits, the US economy gets short-changed and society gets poorer.
