Gas problems

(1/1)

Northcott:
Hi,

I'm doing some research into gas safety and I'm looking for people who have experienced problems with their gas appliances shortly after moving home who might be interested in being a case study.

I'm specifically interested in people who have had Carbon Monoxide leaks in their home as a result of an improperly serviced boiler/gas appliance.

I know several people who have had boiler problems that weren't picked up in their survey and one specifically ended up very seriously ill in hospital as a result of CO poisoning so am looking for anyone who might be able to add to this so I have a robust set of data.

Thanks so much

I am sure there will be a few new homebuyers who will contact you about gas problems.
Over the years we've had a few on here - see links below.

Here are a few links where a faulty boiler installation in a new home killed!

Which is why I called for independent Gas safety and electrical installation inspections at the APPG Inquiry Into the Quality of New Homes , this time last year.
