Title: Device that sounds an alarm if water leak is detected.

There are devices available that turn your water off at the mains if a leak is detected or water discharges from an over flow after a set period of time.
The cost range is from £15 to around £70 and I can see a time when home insurers will either require these or offer a discount on premiums if one is fitted.

I agree, you can never be too careful with this, water leaks can cause so much damage.
