Title: No Rises In Council Tax in 2012

The Government is providing an extra £805 million to Councils in England to help them freeze council tax during the 2012-13 financial year.

This is in addition to the £650 million already provided to encourage council tax freezes and means most households could now be spared the anticipated £72 increase which was due next year.
