After fiddling their expenses and perverting the course of justice, it is a wonder that MPs can find the time to view pornography online.
According to the Mail on Sunday, MPs. peers and their staff have visited x-rated hardcore websites 2,500 times in the period May 2011 to July 2012.
This was discovered after the paper made a Freedom of Information enquiry.
This clearly breaching parliamentary IT rules baring online "pornography, nudity and adult content."
Gay cruising sites have been visited a total of 3,500 times along with other obscure erotica sites that a parliamentary spokesman claimed "may have been visited accidentally"
Also included are a variety of foot fetish websites showing lurid sex acts involving feet - viewed 470 times (by accident!).
A Polish pornography website was visited 292 times in May 2011 (accidentally!)
A gay dating website was accessed 2,828 times in May 2011 (another series of accidents?).
A Tax Payer's Alliance spokesperson said:
"many people working in Parliament are spending far too much time surfing websites that have nothing to do with their jobs" Really? you don't say!
This revelation comes just a week after the Mail on Sunday revealed that parliamentary computers were used 52,375 times to access a site that aims to bring together married men and women seeking sex called "Out of Town Affairs"
