Bovis Homes profits up 69 per cent in 2014
« on: February 23, 2015, 12:55:37 pm »
Bovis Homes announced another record hike in full year profits up 69% on 2013.
On a turnover of £809.4million Bovis made a 17% profit - £133.5million - in the year to 31 December 2014.
It was announced that the dividend would rise to 35p up 159% on last year.
It is reassuring to learn that the 'Help to Buy' taxpayer subsidy is being put to good use!

The average selling price of a Bovis "Groan" rose by 11% to £216,600.
The number of new homes Bovis completed rose by 29% on last year to 3,635 in 2014.
However this represents just 3% of the total 118,760 new homes built in 2014.

Bovis confirmed they had added 7,300 plots to their consented land bank totalled 18,062 plots at year end, representing nearly 5 years supply at 2014 output.
And they (HBF) say that the house builders aren't landbanking!
